BLT sandwiches on fresh white bread with fresh red ripe tomatoes – yummy

I sure miss summer.  Red, ripe tomatoes are long gone from the garden, and those red round balls at the market pretending to be tomatoes just don't do it for me.  I'm already longing for next summer's tomatoes.

I was reading a cute homy old fashion story not to long ago about a now grown woman thinking back at her staying at her Grandmothers house for winter.

Her grandmother had a tomato plant as a house plant in her kitchen, to eat fresh tomatoes during winter.

Why don't you give that a try…just grow them in the house?

Last night we had rosemary rubbed pork chops, cheesy mashed potatoes, grapes, tomatoes, rolls and used Suzanne's recipe for fried green tomatoes.  I am the only one who will eat green tomatoes.  Ate too many Bug Eyed.  I'm tomatoe'd out.

Tonight is spaghetti and garlic bread.

You came here to get help with the decision, didn't you?  This topic just makes me hungry……..and it's only 6:30 in the morning!

Tonight, low-carb ham and greenbean cassarole.  Tomorrow night?  Leftovers!
