Tonight I made a big batch of homemade meatballs. Browned them all nice and crisp, then simmered them in our favorite spaghetti sauce.

Then we enjoyed some meatball subs for supper. Nom nom nom.

Penne pasta with grilled chicken and a bunch of cheese AND Alfredo sauce.  Very good.  Well, with a piece of garlic toast.

Guess Spaghetti and Chocolate cake are 52's favorites for his birthday dinner.

Beef and Noodles with steamed veggie mix.

Shelly, re. Dirty Rice.

It all depends whats in the fridge!

It always has the holy Trinity,Bell Pepper,Celery and Onion;this last time it was 1/2 lb. Minced Beef(Ground).I Chorizo Sausage, 3 Rashers of Bacon. 2 sticks of celery,1 clove of garlic.1/2 Red Pepper 1/2 green Pepper,1 medium sized onion.Livers from two Pheasants.1.1/2cups of Rice and two cups of water.a few dried Chilli Flakes.I always make a large one, as

a. its easier

b. leaves 1/2 for the next day, when to my mind it tastes better!

c. Helps keep the fridge tidy.

For dinner tonight is a mistake.  I wanted to make my "cheater" version of Ham, Stringbeans and Potatoes, in which I substitute Kielbassa for the ham.  Well, I accidentally bought Kielbassa w/Cheese instead of the regular kind Laugh.  I'll let you guys know how it turns out after dinner.  Wish me luck.

Chili's simmering on the stovetop. There's shredded cheddar and Fritos to go on top. And, hotdogs for chili dogs. I'm carting it all next door to eat with the kids in a few minutes!
