Well just updating about my electric frypan eggs, other than having to power failures yesterday due to a storm, I rapped my frypan up in towels and blankets to retain the heat, it worked. Candle the eggs again last night and I'm prode to say I am a mum as I can see little bubs inside the eggs. So never through out eggs that you have over heated as miracles still happen even today. I am so happy today I can wait till they break out. I think I was born to be a mum, I love baby animals, I have 4 baby calves as well as my girls that sit on the back of my calves we all get on well.

boy talk about coming full circle…. hatching chickens in a frying pan!!! hahahaaa…wow…I had never thought of trying that…how many eggs does it hold and what type of chicken eggs? 

No my Isa-Brown hens sit on my calves back, if I did I would break there backs ( not a skinny lady) My calves are Hereford & 1 Angus one of my little hereford was 3 weeks premature 12 hrs old when the farmer was going to knock him on the head because he said it would take to much work to keep him & it would probable die anyway so I bought him, cheap though and they gave me another calf with him. Got the Vet to look at him & they said that he would die as its lungs, digestive system and body temperature control were all under developed. So I put a doggy coat on it to keep it warm carried it around with a towel under his stomach pulling it up to make like a hand at the top of his back, for 2 week with its little legs just touching the ground to exercise it. Called him Ali after Mohomad Ali cos he was just a great fighter, well he is alive running around and very healthy today and is now 5 months old still give me cuddles, he thinks I'm his mum & when the others use to bully him I would stick up for him with my stick. So you can imagine my house hold I am retired lady (due to having a heart attack & stroke) I live by myself in the country in Australia. I have a very loyal little dog that goes every where with me. A cat thats 13yrs old, 8 Isa-Brown hens and Randy Rooster, 4 Calves and 19 chicken babies waiting hatch. Trying to get a RIR rooster next as Randy is an Austrolorp leghorn, great rooster though comes to his name as well and looks after the girls really well

Don't think I can put pictures on for two reasons, don't know how to do it and I live in the country and the only internet I can get is dial-up and it is so slow to down load or up load data. But I whish you could see my Ali I love him so much because we fort to gether to save his life the vet said he live purly from the love that I gave him he was very sick though had scours for 3 weeks ( diaharria) had phumonea 3 times and I sat with him many nights so If he died he wouldn't be alone.

WAY TO GO MERILYN!!!  that was some serious love you poured out over Ali…Hope and Faith too.  what a great story…so wish we had a picture…especially of him wearing the doggie coat…now how stinkin cute is that??? 

You live in Australia!!!!  wow….how the internet brings folks together….just think of everyone posting to this forum and all the different states….and countries…..we all come from…amazing!!

Well I have only today and tomorrow left to turn them then its wait and see for the last 3 days, I am going to see this through to the end. I am concerned about 2 eggs though 1 has a tiny leak of brown fluid through the shell that I noticed last night when turning them hope its not going to explode as I don't know if this is normal and the other is leaking clear fluid just like a tiny little bubble about the size of a pin head, they don't smell awful, so if someone could let me know what this is it would be great.

Got my incubator yesterday all was working well temp,fan auto turner, but whent I put the eggs in it everything worked except the auto turner if u press the button to do it manually it works, but if u turn it on to do it hourly it just clicks and doesn't turn bummer, have to wait till the manual comes to look at the trouble shooting section. Well it was second hand, but I was told it was near new and had only been used twice, any way it sure is better than the frypan and the turning is easier even done manually. I wanted to transfer the eggs from the frypan to the hatching tray in the incubator in 2 days, don't know about these eggs that are leaking though

Merilyn, As you are probably aware, the liquid coming from the eggs is not good.  You will need to toss them. I had the same things happen.  Mine started smelling also (only one).
