Isn't that a staple in every midwestern home? I love Goulash, but to me it's not good unless it's made in an iron skillet. I can't use iron skillets on my glass top cooktop. Oh how I long for a gas stove!

Jayne - I hear ya! I'll post it under “Recipes” tomorrow! (I have a rule about posting recipes after my brain gives out for the day — anything after 5pm that requires specifics I don't do!)

I can wait. I'm not cooking again til Saturday anyway. We don't eat at home on football nights. DH eats with his boys, I'm on my own between work and the game. I can't wait to get to the game Friday night. The stadium that we're playing in has the old fashioned pop corn popper where it pops in oil. I am craving that! Most places here do the Microwave bag. UCK!

Tonight my husband cooked dinner since I'm still recovering from this nasty respiratory infection. He made a very interesting dish, browned ground turkey, boiled potatoes with the skins on Yummy!, with stewed tomatoes topped with cheese and sour cream. It was quite hearty and good.

I hope you feel better soon Patty!
Tonite I'm having Princess food. From the snack bar that is….. Probably nachos or fries with lots of cheese! I wish she were going to be there, I'd keep her in snacks just for running back and forth to the snack bar for me.

We're having roast beast (roast beef), mashed potatoes, peas, applesauce and yeast rolls. This is my all time favorite meal.

Jane, you are my kind of gal. LOL
Patty, hope you feel better…My husband and I have had that junks for weeks - the Ragweed is high.
We had bean burritoes and Suzanne's fab chocolate cake/fluffy white icing..I keep scooping the icing in a spoon - to get more frosting than cake. LOVE IT.

The goulash that we make is GB, Manwich, tomato sauce, macaroni..
Tonights dinner was BBQ meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies and for dessert homemade apple pie.
