What’s in your silverware drawer–besides silverware?

Right now, twist ties, a manual can opener, and my kitchen scissors.  I used to be really bad about it, though, and have all kinds of junk in there.  My current efficiency in my silverware drawer can probably only be put down to that I haven't lived in this house that long!

You?

I'm just weird…so it's not YOU that looks bad!  (my family calls me abnormal…so do my friends)  My kitchen is so organized that I nauseate myself…I even have an organized refrigerator.

Its where I keep my grocery list and a few pens and the phone chargers. No, I dont know why either!

I love sewing and have plenty of material witnesses to prove it.

Silverware drawer has silverware only in it.  The other drawers are not so single-minded…

My silverware tray is in a large drawer that containers all my cooking utensils, wooden spoons, measuring cups, cookie cutters.  The only other spot that would make sense to have the silverware is full of my spices.

Mine is original 1950's handmade by-the-owner cabinets and drawers so has built in dividers.

Only silverware in there – OH and Cob Nobs from Pampered Chef! LOVE those babies.

My silverware drawer has only silverware in it, however there's a drawer for kitchen tools, then a drawer for odds and ends, then a drawer for everything else.

I have exactly one silverware drawer in my kitchen.  Surprisingly it has just silverware in it.  (Only because it's not big enough for anything but the knives, forks and spoons.)  My serving spoons and forks are in the next drawer down — and it's a deep drawer.  So I have a plastic basket under the silverware tray to hold my extra kitchen towels.  That brings the silverware tray up to the level of the top of the drawer.  Now I only have to remember where to find the extra kitchen towels (you know, the ones I only take out when I have company I want to impress!)

scissors, potato peeler, pizza cutter, can opener, meat thermometer, cheese slicer, ice cream scoop, pastry brushes and a few canning jar rings….I think that's about all the drawer can handle!

Sometimes,I live in my own little world, but it’s okay because they know me here.
