I'm fixing fried chicken and mashed potatoes tonight (with Grandmother Bread, of course!).  Comfort food!  I found a pork roast in the freezer and took it out so I can make bee's cranberry pork roast tomorrow!!!!!!  Can't WAIT for that!  It sounds so good.  I went to the store and got some oranges today just for that!  (already had some cranberries)

This am..is brunch - hubby goes in early…Polka Keilbasa, buttered noodles…

Later it'll be bean burritoes and later on, homemade yogurt with fresh blueberries that I am going to thaw right now, out of the freezer. I made yogurt late last night and left it in the oven overnight, so it was fresh this am…and for those that don't know - the oven was OFF. LOL

Tonight is pork roast but not Bee's recipeFrown.  I didn't get to stop at the store yesterday and didn't have any cranberries or oranges and it had to go in the crockpot this morning.  But I will be buying another pork roast to try Bees recipe.  This one I salted and peppered then added 1/2 cup catsup 1/2 cup water 2TBS brown sugar 2TBS minced garlic 2TBS worcestor sauce. I hope it tastes good!

We're going out tonight - I should be thrilled, but I just want to snuggle up on the couch in my mismatched socks and cross stitch…  If I must go, I'm having wine with my whine.

Well, it's gonna be GORTON'S Shrimp Bowl Fettuccine with Shrimp and Vegetables in a Savory Garlic Butter Sauce. I've got a flat tire, it's about 20degrees here and I can't go out to eat or to the store. Where's my future son-in-law that lives next door? Have'nt seen him all day!

We're having friends over for dinner tonight.  I picked up a pork roast on Friday - so cranberry pork roast and undecided sides - and a - it's called “apple crisp” - but it's really not what I'd consider a “crisp” - more of a cobbler type dessert with French vanilla ice cream.  It's a wonderful dessert I picked up when we lived in Virginia.

I heard of Margarita pie…that does sound yummy!

We are having baked chicken, noodles, broccoli today…because I had lunch out…which was half a hamburger, some fries, root beer…so dinner will be LATER…

Then, this evening,  I will have a piece of this European yule log - it's a very small one…he'll prob. have yogurt/fresh strawberries AND yule log. LOL

That sounds yummy, Bee!

I'm doing bean burritoes - husband gets in later…so don't want to cook much and I will have eaten by that time. Today is my pie baking day and I am soooo happy - I made Suzanne's Never Fail piecrust and it was a BREEZE to roll out on waxed paper…my pie is baking as I type.
