GeorgiaZ…you are a hoot! LOL LOL

Today, we are eating out..YIPPEEE! I feel like I am running a bed and breakfast lately…with DH off this week…he wants more meals…this am he made some mean pancakes - but I made the batter - just Aunt Jemima out of the box. LOL But, I don't like all this cooking…I want to say “the hotel is closed!”. That is what my sister used to say her her boys. LOL

Debbie what is Rouladen?

It is a german dish. There are different ways of making it,but it is a beef roll-up using round steak or flank steak with a filling of onion, bacon, dill pickle and brown mustard in a gravy sauce. I posted my recipe under Recipes.

Yeah, now I remember…my mother got this dish recipe in Germany, when we lived there…and my ex brother in law loved it and she made it for him. I can remember eating it now…

I've got a biscuit-topped chicken casserole in the oven, and I'm about to fix some fried green tomatoes to go with!

Ohhh, Suzanne..that sounds good and I love fried green tomatoes, dipped in Ranch Dressing (and fried Zucchini too). The casserole sounds yummy. I also noticed your Sour Cream Chicken Enchila recipe on the blog…I LOVE those.

Today, I am broasting a chicken..then will prob. do mashed potatoes and gravey and green peas.

I made chili for supper.  It's been cooking all day.  We closed the fair, well, I closed my building, the fair closes tonite.  Kinda sad.  We had a great time tho, as tired as we were.

I'm making grilled cheese sandwiches to go with the chili.  The velveeta goooey, butter both sides of the bread, cholesterol laden kind.

I love cooler weather.  Soups, hot dishes, crockpot meals yummmy!

Tonite we are having hot, spicy legs.  (chicken legs, she whispers as not to disturb Spartacus)

They are super simple and so easy to make.

We're having roasted chicken, pulled off the bone and tossed with egg noodles, sliced green onions and peas - I toss this with olive oil and throw shredded Parmesan and sliced grape tomatoes on top.

I cooked up some thin-sliced venison tenderloin like chicken fried steak. Exactly as if it was chicken fried steak, with the gravy and mashed potatoes and everything.  And didn't tell the kids any different, LOL.  Sometimes they are funny about venison.  (Obviously, I am way behind!  This is nearly year-old venison I took out of the freezer from last year's deer season.  I was worried it would be bad, but it was still good!)

Oh - I didn't “do” that!  Suzanne moved a recipe over (it happened to be one I posted earlier today).  Gizmo moved her Whoopie Pies recipe - and I moved all the recipes I've posted.

Now - the rest of you need to move your recipes!  As I was scrolling through, I saw some I had forgotten.  I'm very excited about being able to “see” the recipe titles as I scroll through!

Yeah that's my other favorite grilled cheese meal, tomato soup!  OH YUM! Childhood memories.  I love Campbells, really I do.  Do you use milk or water?  I use milk.
