I think the biggest perk of working in this hospital is that every Wednesday, the “pink ladies” come by with their cart of fresh out of the oven warm baked cookies! I just had a melt in your mouth sugar cookie! The cookies are for employees and they come around and give everyone just one. I told them they could be rich just by selling little cartons of milk to go with it. It would be perfect!

I LOVE COOKIES…and fresh baked are best!!!!
I had a piece of pecan pie…some pound cake (Sara Lee) and some wonderful, very sweet fresh strawberries!!!

Georgia - what a treat and something to look forward to as well. I had bourbon pecan pie last night and it was unreal. they heated it up and poured bourbon sauce all over it. we should do a cookie exchange here and exchange recipes.

I know I am pretty new, but I couldn't help but comment here. I love to make cookies. I have the most amazing recipe that you make and shape the dough into balls whenever you are in the mood. You can take them out of the freezer whenever you feel like it and have warm gingerbread cookies. Amazing!

I posted the recipe. I hope you guys enjoy it. I love to cook and bake. But I love to do it when I want to do it. This recipe is great for that.
