Boy, I am! It's my very favorite holiday. My 15 year old grandson has been the Joker since we went to see The Dark Knight. The only thing missing is a costume and make-up.He practices the voice, mannerisms, etc. and he knows all the lines.

School starts here tomorrow and I'll have a lot of free time to make the purple coat & stuff.See, he lives with me and has since he was born. Sometimes I think he keeps me from aging too fast.

I swear, I'm so in love with Spartacus, I may even dress up like a banty hen.

Yes! It's my next favorite holiday. I love to decorate the outside of the house, dress up and give candy out to all the kids. I hope I have lots of Trick-or-Treaters this year. It's my first Halloween in my new house.

I LOVE Halloween!!! I just hate that I can't trick or treat anymore. I keep trying to get my husband to take me..I can throw a white sheet over me and go as Casper the Ghost and no one will know! I'll look like a teen. LOL

I LOVE the candy corn PUMPKINS and candy corn!!! My mother used to cook a big pot of homeade vegetable beef soup and a pan of cornbread and we'll have that before we set out….ahhh, the memories…I Love the popcorn balls…all that good stuff…I just love Halloween!!!

I LOVE Halloween too..great memories for me as a kid, and now I love to try to make great memories for my own kids. Last year I had a Halloween party for the kids that they invited friends to before Trick or Treating, and everyone had a great time, so I will probably do it again. This year I am also going to make the kids' halloween costumes, so that should be…ummm…interesting!

I was married on Halloween does that count?  Our bedroom has  Halloween theme curtains and I am still working on a quilt but I have to finish cross stitching squares first.

I have already been pulling our Halloween decorations as it takes us a month to decorate.

I got inspired by this topic and got my Halloween stuff out of the attic. Every year at Halloween and Christmas when I pull out the decorations, I get such a rush of excitement….like a little kid.

I love the chilly weather on Halloween and the leaves blowing across the streets. My birthday is All Souls Day on November 2 so we sort of celebrate it on Halloween. For me, Halloween is the kick-off for the rest of the years holiday season and I start planning my big Christmas party around that time.

I LOVE Halloween too! It's a huge deal in the town I live in. They close down the center of town and all the shops on Main st and side streets give out candy. There's bluegrass music and theater skits done in the streets.  The courthouse opens up to costume contests for all ages and blares spooky music out into the square. It's awesome.  I've loved it since I was a kid. Lots of great memories. It's also my husband's favorite holiday, and he usually dresses up with the kids. I have a few times too. It's like that day allows you to be a kid again.  I can't wait to get out the decorations.

Another favorite things coming up is Fall Festivals! My hometown of Rogersville, TN throws an enormous fall fest called Heritage Days, the 2nd weekend in October.  The streets can get so crowded for it that it's shoulder to shoulder sometimes. I love it. Thank goodness we don't have to deal with a stroller in that crowd anymore. Whew

Then there's the corn mazes and picking out pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, hay rides, haunted houses, foddershocks and hay bales. And the color on the trees and the rich blue sky.  In fact I got married the weekend after Heritage Days because I love October so much.  I can't wait!! Hurry up Fall!!

I love anything to do with fall.  Which of course includes Halloween.  We have the second largest fall festival in Indiana the second week of October.  It's just a wonderful time of the year.

I have tons of Halloween decorations, but my job keeps me so busy in the fall that I often don't see my house much for weeks on end.  Not sure I'll decorate.  But….I work at a performing arts venue, and a few days before Halloween we are having an avante garde group that's doing a show called “Nightmare in Venice.”  They encourage Halloween attire whenever this show is performed close to Halloween.  So, we're having a costume contest for the audience.  Staff will dress, of course.  This weekend, I finally figured out what I'm going to be….Really Fat Elvis!  I've ordered the wig and found a costume pattrn on eBay.  Gotta find just the right sunglasses.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do about my boobs, but I'll figure something out.  Since I'm 60 and female, this will be totally out of left field…but totally appropriate in this Memphis suburb.  Can't wait!

When I think of Halloween, the first thing that comes to mind is candy - candy corn, candy corn pumpkins…ect. I am thinking MORE about that dental checkup I have in two weeks. LOL

I love fall decorations in general, but I love Halloween.  My fall decorating is almost done then in a few weeks, I put out the ghosties, and witches and such.  I don't have any children to Trick or Treat, but we sure had some fun times when the boys were home.

When I was in the classroom, I think Halloween was my most exhausting day of the year.  I worked in an inner city school, and the kids would get so wound up from all the junk at the class party.  Just exhausting!

This year I'll be in Clearwater Florida on the Beach for Halloween.  Not for a fun party or anything, more school meetings. But I will be in a very nice hotel, on a beach……..

As a seller on Ebay, I'm about Halloween'd out. I've been drilling, cleaning, painting gourds for

weeks, preparing baskets for them to go in, and I don't recommend eating lots of Pumpkin

seeds, I've had heartburn for 2 days after eating a cup of them! “But they said they are gooood for you!” Everythng in moderation, especially the pumpkin seeds! Pepitos!

You are all killing me here!!!  I just moved to Mesquite Texas so I dont know if I will have any kids or not but there is a grade school around the corner from myhouse so I hope so.  Last year I gave out 80 pieces of candy - 80 kids - and I ran out.  I dont do much decorating other than fall bec of my profession - it is frowned upon.  When my son was growing up though I did big time all over the house and outside and we went trick or treating.  He would get a whole brown grocery bag full to the top.  Little by litle over time, i would remove it to the trash - especially the bubble gum.  we would have some left by Easter!!!!

I miss the fall festivals of the small twon where I lived.  WE have one here at the Park Oct 18 and I will check it out.  I just heard from my friends in Bowie about their festival this year.  A friend one a photo contest and sold a quilt.  Alas.

However, Jayne - I would take the beach any time of the year.  Love it.  Restores my soul.  I am envious!!!

Cleaning out the carport yesterday (we are making it into a room for son, so I can have my SEWING room back) I found my scarecrow from last year, so I put him out. And one ceramic pumpkin that is still sitting on the porch from last year, ha. Kind of like the christmas lights staying on all year. I only have those in the back yard for when we eat out there. Gotta come up with more decor than that! Its as boring as last year!
