Grape Hyacinth Bulbs

Our house is the only one on the block – either side is a vacant lot – one of which is loaded with grape hyacinths in the springtime.  I noticed when out raking leaves this morning that I have a bunch of volunteers coming up all over in the grass.  I don't believe these bloom except in the spring.

Question – I would like these – but not in my lawn.  Would this be the proper time to dig up the bulbs or should I just leave them be and move them in the fall?

Thanks to all of you smartern' me!

There are only two ways to live your life: one is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

Yes Barb you can plant now where you want them to bloom in the spring.Usually propagated from the offsets, and when established you will get a lovely drift of blue to brighten your days-Good luck
