I think it would be nice to also consider a birthday buddies thing – people paired up with a secret pal birthday and name and send a little bday something to another member. Folks could be given a name of someone with a birthday near to their own or 6 months apart, whatever. Could be just a card only thing.

I recieved my gift, and was very very pleased. I send my gift out last Tue and the giftee should get it by Tue or Wed this week. My gift was from Kathy (WV Hills), when I opened the box, the smell of vanilla was so sweet. Kathy sent some of her ready made vanilla, and some beans so I could make my own. She also included a cheese starter kit that will be a challenge for me. Also the dear lady included some handmade beaded ornaments. The gift was very generous and couldn't have been better!! Thanks!! This really made me feel like Christmas was indeed coming!

Mine will be a few days before it goes out. Lots of stuff going on here and you'd think I would have managed to get finished after having 5 days off from work but noooooooooo.

That's good, because this is soooo much more enjoyable! Every day someone else gets a package. I'm nearly as excited about seeing what everyone else gets as wondering who is sending me something, and what WILL it be!
