okay, I'm venting!!
I'm supervising two teenagers. One who can't seem to stay where she's supposed to. She just up and leaves with no word where she's going, when she'll be back. This will be the third day I've had to say something. But I hate complaining because when she is here, she works hard. Oh what to do!

No I don't think she's smoking. She is a very shy, quiet girl. I think one of her friends is working at another end of the campus, so when she gets a break, Sabrina heads out too. Which is fine, except, I need to know where she is!
She's a really good, conscientious worker when she is in my office.
She boxed up records in less than two weeks. Last year it took two women two months to do the same amount. But they are looking for jobs this summer, so I bet you can guess why…….

Well, Jayne…next time it happens…ask her if she has diarrhea. When she says she doesn't – and looks surprised – tell her that you thought she was running to the bathroom – and could she please tell you where she is going if it isn't to the bathroom!!!

Whats bugging me today……welll where do I start.
It is winter here 'Down Under' it is cold, there is mud everywhere even the chooks are slipping over. The news is full of the SWINE FLU, before it was how many people have tested positive now it is the deaths (3) so far. They don't tell us how many people normally die of flu each year which is apparantly about 200.
Everywhere one goes people are coughing and sneezing because it has been an exremely cold winter more people are suffering from colds and flu. People don't know how to drive on iced up roads so the cars are sliding off, that is a bit of entertainment I suppose.
Anyway that is my vent for today . I don't normally vent must be because I have a head cold – making me crabby.

We Americans tend to forget you're down there in the chilly cold now. The swine flu has been bad in my area. The Navy base here has reported several dozen cases. I guess that's from the students in the dorms attending training here. I hope it slows down a bit before school starts back up here.
Hang in there, soon it will be summer again! and we'll be cold.
