Oh, my.  A Kawasaki “Mule” was just delivered in front of my garage!  It is sooooo cute.  Now I can start moving some serious dirt around!  Our raised beds will become properly filled because I can haul MUCH more dirt around in this than in the wheel barrow.

This would be much more exciting had a very young driver not run into the trailer upon which it was being brought in about a quarter of a mile from the house…

This is a great surprise!

I was just offered a promotion @ my place of wk! It's not final yet the extra nursing hours needed  to cover my current schedlule will have to be approved by corporate first. The Adm. and the Wellness Director Nurse asked me today if I would like to be an Assistant to her! Wont have to adm medication, there will be a QMA or other nurse to do that! The schedule would be M-F 7am to 1pm.(the same number of hrs I wk now) It would be more paperwork, taking calls, talking with familes, drs, etc. and less physical busting my a**! Pay's the same until I get my annual raise,I've only been there 4mos. No more eves or doubles! Please pray Corp will go along with the request!!Happy Feet!

Boy am I slow to catch on.  I know you said the mule wasn't furry — I just thought that meant he/she had a sleek coat.  My mule has four hooves.  I take it your mule has four tires!

I'll bet my mule is cuter than your mule, and comes with a ready supply of fertilizer. Knight  (Okay – so it's not a mule.  Same principle.)

I dunno, my Mule is pretty cute!  Roll bar, huge windshield, and a top cover for the cab.  Bench seats, seat belts, and a dumping bed.  And it's RED!  4x4, if you want it, and in the woods, I will most likely want it.  It got a wash down today, and the terrier mix & I went for a little ride.  I will drive it tomorrow, after ALL the mechanical systems are thoroughly checked out. The trailer that it rode in on was pretty much totalled when a very young driver drove into it parked beside the road in sight of it's new home.  Kinda freaky.  Sure glad everyone was properly belted into the truck pulling it, because they were jostled around quite a bit on impact.

May have to call this thing my surrey, and add fringe on the top.  Wouldn't that look wonderful in the woods…

Leah!  What wonderful News!  I can't wait to hear you got the promotion.  You go girl!

Pete – I am so jealous!  I get around our ranch on a 4 wheeler and driving it kills me because of the arthritis in my hands.  We want to see pictures of you and the surrey with the fringe on top!

Yes, Barb, I have the same problem with the 4-wheeler.  It's fun for a little while, but not in tight places, for the same reasons – the hands just don't work so well any more.  The Mule seems to steer much easier and is much shorter than the 4-wheeler plus a trailer.

I. am. still. working. on. the. craftroom!!!  I really did not think this would take a week, but today is my last day…….making things pretty!  I've made a craft box for each of the older grandkids……a box full of imagination is a great learning tool!!  (Thanks buckeyegirl for the idea!)

Have you girls tried Mobic? My Mom says that's the only thing that helps relieve pain in her hands. It's expensive, but not so much with insurance, but it's worth it to her. Nurse Leah Laugh
