Hello there stranger!  Wave  We haven't seen you in quite awhile!  It's good to have you back.  Sounds like the farm is keeping you busy.  You've got lots of catching up to do, sit and stay awhile with us!

I am doing so many different things every day, now that I am not working. I have decided that I need a schedule, somewhat, to make the most of the time. I am going to work on the inside of the house from the time I get up at 6 or earlier until about 9 am, when I will get dreassed and go tend to the chickens. I will stay outside and work on the outside property until about 1 for lunch and then stay inside and do quiet work, including food, etc. until hubby gets home at 4. If I have to go to the store, I will go in the late afternoon after lunch.

There is so much to do inside and out and I have to have a schedule to keep from feeling overwhelmed and disorganized. I did this today and it worked out pretty good. I actually got a lot done today.

Good for you Sheryl!  That works for me as long as someone doesn't come to my door…or the phone doesn't ring.  On days when I can't be disturbed, I don't answer the door – or the phone!

I got my hair cut this morning – I was starting to resemble a mop – so improvement was needed!  I grocery shopped…and now I need to box up a package to mail…and make chili.  I got up at 5 and started picking up and cleaning – doing laundry and wrapping gifts.  So far, this has been a very productive day…I don't feel like I have to hide in my closet…Wink

I have had a busy day ….. returned the rental car I used yesterday to get home from a patient transfer, did some grocery shopping for the little get together this afternoon, ran into an old friend and caught up on his life, washed clothes, washed floors …. washed a lot of things

And then …..

the card lady cancelled due to illness.  Of course I don't blame her.  But gosh, it means we have to just drink wine and eat goodies.

Wonton paper wrapped prawns, bacon wrapped scallops, cheese and crackers, peanut satay chicken, veggie eggrolls …. and wine.

I've baked bread all day using Suzanne Grandmother's Bread.   I have so enjoyed reading this forum, so many new recipes!

David loves cinnamon swirl bread for his Peanut butter/honey sandwiches so I made a couple of those loaves also and added a nice thick layer of pecans finely chopped.   I bet he'll really love this bread.

I had extra cheddar cheese so I made a loaf of cheddar/onion loaf to have with lasagna tomorrow, or whatever I really decide to fix tomorrow.  I haven't thought that far ahead yet.

I've piddle around outside cutting dead limbs out of my roses, watered the 4 I moved yesterday so they won't wilt.  Also watered the "pot ghetto" I have of potted roses.

I quilted on my quilt for about 2 hours!  That was very relaxing except for my cat draped on my neck/shoulders….LOL  Maxwell is a little lovey and he is a grumpy old man of 17.  But…he is MY grumpy of man!  Truly Max is just the sweetest thing, he just gets cold and wants to snuggle up to someone and get warm.

Now I've made me a cup of coffee and just checking out my favorite sites on the computer until I get my booty up to dig in the freezer for somethign to fix for supper.

I wish I lived next door to you — I'd drop over for your parties any time.  Of course I'd want to live on the side opposite your 'fence issue' neighbor. Yes

At work, with 3 young auditors— they will be with me until the end of the month.  I so need some time off, but can't see that happening until Jan.  Poor Poor me!!!

You don't know how good it is to see your smiling face once again.  Don't ever go away again!  (Next time mug a technician and hold him hostage until he fixes your connection!)

Ahhh, you're not whining!  Just because the job is great and the people you work with (or at least most of them) are wonderful doesn't mean you don't need a break from them!  And then to be looking at a couple more months with no possibility of a break – I'd be more concerned if you DIDN"T have some frustration!

But you will make it with flying colors, and then REALLY enjoy some Jeannie time!   Wave

I'm sitting here trying to figure out what I DIDN'T do today.  I feel like something that didn't quite make it down the disposal.

awe shucks, thanks guys.

The technician that came today actually gave me his cell number to call instead of the 'idiots' in tech support. He said to just call and he would come right over. Think he has a thing for me?
