I rarely watch TV, mostly the news and nowdays thats so depressing, I may stop that.  Give me a good book any day.  Now I mostly "read" audio books while I stitch or sew.

Don't cry because it's over—smile because it happened!

I just discovered "Little Miss Perfect." The little girls are sooo sweet and cute! Some of the Mom's I wonder about! Ha,ha! So far all the one's I picked as a winner have won!  I picked the ones that let their natural sweetness shine thru…I like reality shows in general tho.

Someone asked about the country music awards last night. I dont usually watch when John is gone but I caught a bit here and there. I was surprised at album of the year, Taylor Swift and entertainer of the year Carrie Underwood. Took them big awards away from the boys! I liked their genuine excitment. A nice change from those that always expect to win.

I wonder if they used the same dye for both?  (her hair and her dress)  Sorry, Reba grates my nerves ever since we paid good money to see her in concert and she spent more time waiting around listening for applause than she did singing.

It was great to see Carrie & Taylor get excited.  I also enjoyed that Sugarland beat out Brooks & Dunn.  I like Brooks & Dunn, but it's time for someone else to win!

Dont you just love the faces Reba makes when she sings! I love to watch her, with the sound off, its like she is having seizures.

I liked the new Sugarland song too.

Sorry folks, but I was glad George Strait didnt win either for a change. He came to our little county fair in 1977 when everyone was still saying George who? Amarillo by morning was the hit of the year and he was 2 1/2 hours late and sang for 30 minutes and left. No autographs or anything. I liked his first couple years of music but anything after that all sounds the same.

If they paid for yardage, some of those dresses cost 59 cents!

Those 2 and Miranda Lambert are about the only "new" girls I know the names of. One of the girls I saw early in the show as I flipped thru had on a handkerchief. I sometimes wonder of the view from the front row.

My sister taped a HBO movie for me. Grey Gardens, about Jackie O's family. It was really good. Loved the hamphsire accents. They were some eccentric folks!

Watched the Hallmark movie about Irena Sendler last night.  It was great, and very historically accurate, based on what little I know about the situation.  "The Courageous Heart."

I tried to watch that but was not in a good mind set to do so. I intend to catch the rerun. I love hallmark movies.

I watched the Millonaire Matchmaker for the first time on Bravo TV. I just dont see how they can find a significant other that way! It was entertaining tho. Although they do use the SHOCK FACTOR for laughs a lot! Do you believe that a millionaire is smart enough to make all that money, but has to pay someone to find them a date and coach them on how to treat someone youre going to go out with?!Help

Well, I know of a couple of them that need help!  No personality…at all!  In fact, I wouldn't set anyone up on a date to go out with either of them!  That would be cruel and unusual punishment!

Anyone watch John and Kate plus Eight? I've been following it for a long time. Since they started having marital problems the ratings have soared….it was viewed by 5 million before the bad publicity and now the number of viewers has doubled! I believe him when he says he did'nt cheat on Kate but they have other issues as well. Such as he's been Mr. Mom for two yrs now! I think if he would go back to wk things would improve. The children are well behaved considering,ha,ha!Tonight Emeril's in their kitchen!
