OK,found out,finally….I wk Thanksgiving Day Til noon! Will just make my dishes the night before. After wk I'll change clothes and start my wkend!!!

That sounds like a pretty good deal, Leah, actually. It certainly could be a whole lot worse. Like work in the afternoon of the holiday. Or Friday. Or Thursday afternoon AND Saturday… Enjoy it!
We still don't know just how things will go here. The family with whom we are dining is in flux, and we will be awaiting late medical reports (theirs) next week. The important decision has been made – whatever we are donig, we will be together! May be in a restaurant, but that is fine with us, as long as we get to spend time with each other.

Yeah,spending time with family is the BEST part of Thanksgiving.
BTW all 3 of the managers from wk are gone to Indy,on a buisness trip today. So, I'm hoping they'll know something about the promotion when they return!
(Think this was #10 at least,hahaha! Well, I LOVE Clover!)

I hate to be the nay-sayer of the bunch, but then, you haven't met my family  . Sadly, it is MUCH better for me to stay away from them  **. I tend to enjoy the holidays in a somewhat pagan fashion, enjoying the drawing-in of the days, the coolness of the weather with the anticipation of snow, the smell of fallen leaves and leaf-burning going on in the neighborhood, the sight of Xmas trees tied to car-hoods…that kind of thing. Along with Mozart, Beethovan or Celtic music on the stereo and sometimes a nice Merlot in a beautiful glass…I'm a happy girl.

No Cindy, when they come they stay a month, then they leave and the tax aduitors start. I won't have an extra minute until about Jan. And I have had a bout of bronchitis (second time this year), the cough just lingers. I just stole a few mins to visit with my friends!

Hello everyone! Just thought I would let you know I have truely lost my mind if you happen to find it please send it home. I was in a conference all day at work rushed home fixed dinner and after lots and lots of begging from my daughter I agreed to take her to the midnight showing of New Moon and I have to be back at my work conference at 7:30 in the morning.
