Main tree in the living room, all in western to fit us, and its a fresh tree.

This is about 1/5 of my antique ornaments, also antique stockings for Bobby & Kate, no idea who they were. The doorway from living room to kitchen.

My mexican tree, so full you cant even tell there are lights on it. The tiny tree beside it is all ornaments that were on my grandmothers tree when my mom was little. Havent found my topper or skirt yet.

This one is in the dining room. It rotates and has all my ornaments that my son made and gifts from others and all my hallmark collections.

Some of my barbie collection. John collected the trucks.

Tike loves the grench tree also in the dining room. She thinks all the tree skirts are just for her to lay on, and she does.

Those are absolutely gorgeous! I especially love the Western one.  I, too, used to decorate extensively for Christmas, but since it's only me now, just seems like it's not worth the effort. However, maybe this year, I will–I think you've inspired me!

Great job Georgia!  You're inspiring me to get things moving here!

Love your Grinch Tree - I have three of those Grinches - I just never thought of putting them ON a tree!  Love that idea!  (Of course, my kids expect “their” Grinch to be on their bed for Christmas…)

Love your Mexican Tree too - need a close up of that one!

I'm trying so hard to get it all done, but time and loss of energy have won over. This is such a tiny part of what I use to do. I have garlands to go over every doorway in the house, each covered with antique ornaments. I had a snowman tree, santa tree, red white & blue tree, minature ornament tree, antique jewelry tree, sea shell tree, gift ornament tree for everyperson that came by my house during the Christmas season got a handmade ornament. I cant even remember them all, I had 21 trees at one time. No wonder I am tired!!!

What a collection - they are all beautiful. You would have to have a collection of trees to hold your collections of ornaments.  You have such a beautiful, warm home and heart to go with them.

What beautiful trees Georgia!  I wish my cats would be content to lay under the tree like Tike.

Georgia,

Thanks for sharing, your home is warm and inviting.  I would love to see a close up of the Mexican tree.  I have not decorated much the past few years, after losing my sister my heart has not been in the Holiday spirit, but seeing all of your trees, I'm feeling much better, I love the idea of lots of small trees with themes.   I don't know if I can find many Mexican items in South Carolina, but I'm going to look.  Again, thanks friend.

I totally understand Jeannie, after loosing mine 5 years ago, I am just now beginning to care if Christmas happens at all. But honestly being on this forum and meeting the people here, it has begun a renewal of my Christmas excitment. So I wish you the best and believe me I never thought it would, but the happiness will come back in you. It wont be exactly the same, nothing will, but it really does get better.

Georgia - Wow what great trees!!!  I love them all!!!  I only have 2 big ones, one 7 foot and one 4 foot, but I have a ton of little ones, red, gold, silver, white and green.  I love them.  I just found some battery operated lights at dollar tree for some of them.  I had bought the lights at CVS for 3.00 each but I am taking them back now.  I am so glad you decorated and i love the greenery over the doorways with the old ornaments.  I only have a handful of old ones but really want more.  My 7 foot tree is very skinny with rope lights on it - easy for me to decorate.  they dont make them any more - at least not that i know and that you can put in a box.

thanks for posting - made my day

I just love the door way with the crosses too.  what a great idea!!!  I love the grinch tree too and may do one of those.  i have a grinch like yours - love that movie with Jim Carey.  I personally dont like his movies except that one and The Majestic.  I could find green and red ornaments easy.  Not sure about a large silver tree but I do have my 4 foot green one I have not put up yet - hmmmm  - how early is it for walmart??

I SO wanted to see the tree up close.  I was getting ready to hitch the horse to the buggy and head your way…this is SO much easier!  Thanks!  (Looks like there are eyes peaking out from under that hat!)
