Dear Santa,
Just so you know, I am still greedy. But not so specifically greedy now after seeing Suzannes blog for this morning. Where it is totally beautiful and picture perfect for WV, I am feeling a bit inclined to maybe adjust my want list just a bit. (Dear God, please dont let it be too late! Amen.)
First and foremost…PLEASE bring Princess a REAL coat!!! A warm one! I am thinking it should be goose down and fleece lined with an extra wool lining added in. And it needs to be long and have a big fluffy hood attached and some gloves also extra lined. And maybe some pants to match it and some fur lined boots. Some ear muffs would be nice too and maybe one of those like clown noses to keep her nose from freezing and breaking off. She is a Princess after all and would not look quite so cute without a nose or ears. Maybe all the same for Suzanne and the rest, but it kind of looked like Princess was getting the raw end of this deal, so maybe theirs wouldnt have to be so extra warm. I am thinking that Suzanne could use one of those child labor law guides too. And just where are those big ole ruff boys during their sisters hour of need??? I would like them to also have one of those things that you sit on and slide down the hills on the snow. I saw one on tv once and it looked like fun if you have more than one hour of snow all winter long. And some of those things you put on the tires of your car so you can drive through the snow a little safer, then maybe Princess could go to school like her brothers and not have to work all day in the sub freezing barnyard. I also am concerned about Clover and the kids…do you make goat coats? You should. And you should make them out of wool cause WVHills sheep look pretty warm. And I am sure the chickens would like some such covering too. Wonder how the eggs are anyway, I have frozen them before but never IN the shell before I brought them in the house! And maybe next summer Santa, you could see that Suzanne gets one of those great big barns like I saw in MN and she could just put all the animals in there for the winter and I would not have to loose all this sleep worring about them. And it aint even winter yet!!!
So, anyway Santa, back to me now. I am thinking that a little SUMMER cottage in WV would be just fine. And a farm here in Texas, where I can just sweat with my animals and not have to thaw them out. Or watch them freeze to death in the winter cause I aint going out there.
As for the rest of my list, it is still the same. It would be ok if you wanted to make arrangements for me to pick up that VW Beetle early.
Thank you Santa, I love you!
From your EEFTS, Georgia
PS. I saw you at that craft show last Saturday. Youre beard sure is getting scruffy. Maybe you should try some of that mens hair growth stuff and fill it out, just trying to help. And maybe you should see a doctor for a checkup cause you looked a bit pale and jaundice, not very red and jolly like you do on tv. We have a good doctor here at my hospital and I can get you and appointment for next week, just call me. I am also thinking you may have a little sleep apnea going on there cause you dozed off every time you were alone and snored pretty loudly, so I will check about getting you a sleep study too. What kind of insurance do you have? Copay? Deductable? You were very nice to those screaming little brats…uhhh cute little children.
And I was wondering, do your animals have to stay out in the snow like Suzannes???

I know what “EEFTS” means!
I think Suzanne would go for the barn - but I don't think Princess would go for the nice coat. I think she is into the Dickens's look right now… …and the best thing to do is go for it - and take LOTS OF PICTURES!
Tell you what - Georgia - I'll whip up some goat coats - IF - you'll travel to WV and suit 'em up. I'd love a video of THAT!
Signed,
EEFTN
(The rest of y'all will just have to guess!)

Let me say this - it would be easier for you to guess me than it would Georgia! (Not in character for her!)

You may want to ask Santa to bring the girl the common sense to wear the coat! (That was not meant to sound nasty at all!!) I know that's what I'll be asking for older 2 kids! I'd also like him to bring instruction for my son on how to put clothes in the new (used) dresser that I just bought him!
EEFTS? I googled it and got nothing! How can I figure it out if I can't cheat?!

That girl is crazy and she has always been that way. I have always had the hardest time getting her to wear a coat!!!!!!

What is it with teenage girls not wanting to wear coats? I have the same problem. My daughter thinks a hoodie sweatshirt is all she needs.

It's not just girls. My 15 yo boy thinks he's too cool to wear a coat to school..or nearly anywhere else. However he WILL put on one of our farm coats when he needs to put the horses in the shed if it's REALLY, REALLY cold!

Don't feel bad Suzanne…my parents had a hard time keeping shoes on me as a child and then later it was hard to get me to wear a sweater. I can remember mother telling me to get inside and get a sweater - my purple veins were showing. LOL

LOL! I'm wearing flip flops and it's snowing. Is it any wonder my daughter doesn't want to wear a coat.

I don't know what it means either!!!!!!
Working at a High School, a magnet High School btw, with supposed intelligent children, I don't think any of them know what it means to dress warm! They don't want to be out of fashion!
