Bella - back up and check out the link I posted.  That was Carol of the Bells - if you look to the right (after opening the link) you can “hear” it by different artists.  I'd pick another to listen to…

We're not sure where the name originated, and it's speculated that it's because you make a pig of yourself eating it. It has an alternate name, depending on who you're talking to: “Better Than Sex Cake”.

It's really simple though, you take a butter recipe golden cake mix and mix according to direction, then add 1/2 a large can of drained crushed pineapple to the batter and mix, then bake in a deep 13×9 dish according to box directions for the cake.

Then in a large mixing bowl, mix a box of instant vanilla pudding according to directions on box and let sit in fridge to set.  Then add a whole tub of cool whip, the rest of the drained crushed pineapple, and a small can of drained mandarin oranges, chopped up. Mix all that together and let sit in fridge. When cake is done, let it cool and chill as well. When cake is cool, pour topping over it and let it sit in the fridge at least an hour, but overnight is best so the topping sets up and kind of soaks into the cake some.

It's not really a “fruity” cake even with the fruit in it. It's more of a very light, refreshing, cool creamy dessert. I get asked to make it for gatherings more than anything else.  When my husband had his Thanksgiving party at work, our oven wasn't working so I didn't make one and people hounded him about it for 2 days.

Hmmm, there's 2 pieces left, I think I'm gonna go get one.
