Sauerkraut Salad

2 small cans sauerkraut

   – cover with cold water, and allow to stand while making the following…

Boil together

   – 1 1/2 cups sugar

      3/4 cup white vinegar

      1/2 cup salad oil

      1/4 teaspoon celery seed

Cool

Chop 1 onion, 1 carrot, 1 red bell pepper, 1/2 of a green bell pepper.  Squeeze the water from the sauerkraut.  Mix all together and let set overnight.  Store in refrigerator.
