Pineapple Bars

2 eggs

2 c sugar

2 c flour

2 t soda

1 t vanilla

1/2 c nuts

1/4 t salt

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (juice and all)

Beat the two eggs. Add remaining ingredients and mix by hand all at one time. Do not use electric mixer. Spread in a 10 X 15 inch pan. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. While hot frost with:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (softened)

1/2 stick margarine (softened)

1 3/4 c powdered sugar

1 t vanilla

1/2 c nuts

Mix throughly and spread on hot cake

Oh, my.  That looks simply heavenly!  And something I'd simply sit down with the pan and a spoon…

We will just make two pans.  With both of us growling, no one would come within a block or two!

Macadamia nuts?  Or would that be just a little much??
