Mini Ham Puffs

1 package (2.5 ounce) processed honey-baked ham, finely chopped

1 small onion, minced

1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese

1 egg

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 package (8 ounce) refrigerated crescent rolls

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Chop ham and onion.  Place in a large bowl.  Add cheese, egg, pepper and mustard.  Stir to combine.  Spray mini tart pans with cooking spray.  Unroll crescent rolls, pressing seams together.  Divide into 24 pieces.  Put the squares into the pan, and press in to form a cup.  Place filling into crust.  Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

Variation:  Spread dough onto a 13" pan sealing seams.  Spread ham mixture over crust.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.  Cut into small squares and serve.  Makes 24 appetizers.
