Merry Christmas Cookies

2 sticks margarine, softened

3 eggs, well beaten

½ cup whole milk

1 cup brown sugar, packed

3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon

7 cups pecans, chopped

6 slices candied pineapple, chopped

2 cups candied cherries, chopped

Preheat oven to 275°.  In a large bowl, combine margarine, eggs and milk.  In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, baking soda and cinnamon.  Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well by hand.  Add pecans, pineapple and cherries and continue to mix well by hand.  Drop by spoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for about 20 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
