1 1/3 warm water
2 tsp yeast
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp canola oil
1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
2 cups bread flour
Put water, yeast, sugar and oil in bread machine on dough setting. Add flours and start machine. When dough cycle is complete and dough has risen to twice it's size remove to lightly floured surface. Knead dough a few times and form a loaf. Place dough in pan coated with cooking spray. Lightly dust top of loaf with flour and cover with damp dishtowel. Allow to rise in a warm place until doubled in size. Bake at 375 for 35 minutes. Remove from pan immediately and rub top crust with butter to keep it soft. Enjoy!

Thanks Georgia, you should have smell-o-puter. It smells like the Wonder Bread Bakery in here. I made Suzanne's Raisin Bread yesterday and got up early just to get downstairs to have a slice with my coffee this morning. Of course, I started feeling guilty about the chickens and goats so I put on my coat, went out in the cold, fed and watered them, then returned to my toast and coffee. Tonight I am making BLT's on this bread lightly toasted.

Pretty bread! I bet it does smell good! Makes me want a bread machine. I'm still making bread the old way.

I just used the bread machine for the dough. I formed the loaf after the first rise and baked it in a regular oven. The loaves from my bread machine don't come out this pretty. We had egg salad sandwiches instead of BLT's on this bread for dinner. The eggs were from OUR chickens. It was so good!
