These are unreal.

Take any cake mix – I used german chocolate and make the cake.  when it is still warm from the oven break it up in a large bowl and break up with a fork.

Add the whole container of coconut frosting and mix.

Scoop out into balls on wax paper and freeze for 2 hrs at least.  I used the cookie scoop and got 6 dozen.

Melt the whole package of chocolate bark or any kind and dip in the chocolate and back on to the wax paper and place in frig.  You may want to add 1 tsp of crisco to help the chocolate to be thin to dip.  You can use a tooth pick for dipping too or one of the metal egg dye things to hold them.

THESE ARE TO DIE FOR.

You can go on line and see other flavors of cake mixes and icings.  You can decorate them with melted butterscotch drizzled over them too.

These look really good…however, whenever I see this topic flash up as "new"…it registers in my mind as "chicken balls".  (It's just my mind.)

Perhaps fortunately, anyone who is familiar at all with the Bakerella phenomena of cake bites, cake balls, cupcakes bites, or cupcake pops will look (we can hope!) for that rather than the specific flavor chocolate.  Well, it COULD happen!   Laugh
