My Corn Casserole

1/2 stick butter

1 small onion, chopped

1 small can diced green chilies, drained

1/2 – 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 garlic clove, minced

salt & pepper to taste

1 8-ounce package cream cheese

3 cans corn, completely drained

Saute onion and chilies in butter until soft. Season with garlic, salt and pepper. Add cream cheese and let melt. Add corn and stir completely. Simmer on low heat.
