52 cut this dead tree down yesterday and it took out several sections of the garden fence. But it didn’t hit the house! Or a rose bush or grape vine! And it’s nice and dry–great for firewood!

I sympathize with you, Deb Turner. My move to a small city was only supposed to be while the kids were small because I don’t drive. Closer to doctors and all. Over twenty years later, we’re still here.

My husband cut an old dead birch for my brother and it broke in three huge pieces WHILE IT WAS FALLING during the cutting….one piece almost hit his head….we were so lucky.
They don’t call them “widow makers” for nothing!
