She’s after the seeds. Favorite food for chickens and apparently a natural wormer too.

Quick ….grab the punkin’ carve two menacing eyes above the stem and hole where the chicken (looks like the back of a large crow) has its head poked in…..throw in some more seeds wait until the chicken comes back and it will for sure look like the chicken has been eaten by the white punkin’……just sayin’ for fun
Suzanne….if one of the kids do it take a pic and post it…

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

"Lamb-y, then whammy! Get some tickets to Miami! Snow is easing, but we're still freezing. It may be spring by the astronomer, but not by the thermometer. Mighty fine, then leonine."
