    Hasn’t happened so far! They know how to move their heads around to keep from getting stuck, or to get unstuck.

    They are so cute when we go to camp! I am tempted to give them a carrot……….do they eat carrots??? The donkey always has something to say when we stop the truck to admire them!

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either.
