Now why would Coco settle for a cone head hat when the goat gets a to wear a jeweled crown?! No wonder she shook it off!

That is so funny! We try to put hats (and costumes) on our dog but she gets out of them every time. We did manage to get a picture of her wearing a princess hat very similar to Coco’s hat though. Hehe We just had to hold up a fork of meat loaf to distract her long enough to take the picture.

when I was a kid we found out that if you put a hat on a cat it will run backwards trying to run out from under it. We tried this on every cat we could get our hands on and the result was the same. We were mean little country kids with no cable tv-so you had to find entertainment where you could LOL! It worked best with baby doll bonnets that you could tie on-of course it was hard to get it back off once the cat was mad. I have never shared this info wih my children-because I like my cats.

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

"Lamb-y, then whammy! Get some tickets to Miami! Snow is easing, but we're still freezing. It may be spring by the astronomer, but not by the thermometer. Mighty fine, then leonine."
