Ha! Too cute. We once had a pygmy goat (wedding gift). We lived on a 110 acre farm then & our goat & black lab would play the head- butt game for hours. Gotta love animals! D

I love the puzzle link of your critters. I had made a bunch with my dogs a few years ago and it's really fun, especially if you change the cut to the REALLY hard ones. Great time waster. :woof:

Nutmeg reminds me of the kind of cat that wants to stand in the open doorway and think about whether it wants to be outside. She thinks she wants to be outside, but when she does find herself outside, she wants back in. Right now. Nevermind she'll want back out in a few minutes. Or it could all be a ploy to get cookies.

I think you need to use wire with smaller holes---like horse wire.

Love your blog!

We use cattle paneling to keep our goats in. Of course, it only works well with BIG goats!

What a sweet, thoughful little goat Nutmeg is! She is just trying to save you from having to go down the stairs to the goat yard to give them cookies. She came up for them! And, she says she will take the cookies for the others down, also. (In her rumen!) Now isn't that just a thoughtful goat?

Suzanne, how long does it take you each day to feed all the critters?

I use poultry netting to keep mine in. It doesn't always work, but mostly. I do have one escape artist. He now climbs the gate and jumps over it. The gate is covered with poultry netting.

I wondered if you were able to keep them in with that type of fencing. I've read that with goats you have to have something with smaller holes in it and practically bury the stuff a foot to keep them from getting out.

Sure make cute porch ornaments though. (Nutmeg not the poop.)
