She has either matured to "basketball" size or she has matured to "mama" size. I look forward to the rest of the story. I know which I am hoping for.

Human preggo tests work for critters, too. They test the same hormone present in pregnant females. If you really, really need to know NOW, get a preg test and wait for Clover to pee. You'll know in about a minute

Thanks--I'm a huge proponent of spaying and neutering. I've mentioned many times that I spay/neuter all of my pets (cats and dogs, other than Coco, who is a livestock guardian dog and part of our livestock). As for the goats etc, this is a farm--we breed our livestock for sale.

ummm...so many animals and many of them came free because there simply are too many. Maybe spay/neuter and responsible animal husbandry should be more a topic of the conversations on this site. They are so cute but will overbreed unless the humans act.

Have you looked at her rear end?? :? We used to raise nubian goats and Border Leicester sheep. I could almost always tell they were bred by looking at the vulva....It elongates and starts to show a little pink. Every spring I would do my 'Rear End Checks' and I could tell who was bred and who wasn't. If she passes a glob of bloody mucus that is a good sign she is close to delivering! :happyfeet:
