To Red….may I call you Red?
Do not ponder your trivialities! She is playing with your psyche! Her broom is surely lost!
You are very important and worthy of note!…See how she depends on you and your peers for her work and relaxation…
You are, my big red skinned, feathered friend, not a joke but should be taken seriously…you are not just a part of the barn yard but a significant entity unto yourself …you majestic, exquisite fowl!
PS….I know some good creams that might tighten up that red, wrinkled, baggy skin under your eyes if you want. Close-ups are painful aren’t they?

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

"First it's glowing, then it's snowing! A pause, then screaming squalls and williwaws. Bright but bitter, then a thaw. Yet again it's cold and storming: What ever happened to global warming?"
