What is in my kitchen?
1. The cat, although not on the table, just underfoot. I would have no problem with him on the table although DH would have a stroke.
2. My stack of cast iron dutch ovens in the chimney corner and collection of all sizes cast iron skillets.
3. My big old flower pot (with a liner) next to the stove for most used utensils.
4. Budding Christmas cactus on the table.
5. Old spice tins lining the window sill.
6. Candles on the counter.
7. And my collection of copper pots on the wall.
All these and the presence of DH make my kitchen the heart of our home. :fairy:

Not only is there a cat on my table...now the cat food is on the table (well, 3 cat foods)...due to the fact that we just took possession of a friend's dog...who loves cat food!

I have four cats, plus our neighbor's cat.....(also have three dogs)....Molly and Blossom love to watch us from the kitchen table..... and Cooper and Toby join their sisters on the dining room table......from there they can keep an eye on everything.....
Never thought I would ever allow cats on tables but these last few years, it has become natural to our family of furries....and I love seeing them there..........

Will now put a candle in my kitche window.....!!

Thanks for the pepperoni recipe, will try it.....my husband loves them, just picked up the last few from a local yard sale.....
That is what got me to the web to try and find recipe to make my own....and came upon your site.......
Thank you....Michele..

I love Lazy Susan's and so did my mother (on the kitchen table) and I love a glass picture of water on the dining room table. I like a stone vase of my kitchen tools, like spatulas, wooden spoons, etc. and my cannisters and I like a large white fruit bowl I have on the kitchen counter...

No cats on the table for now - we no longer have her. But does a Chihuahua in (not ON) the CLEAN laundry pile count? Allowed? Human, what does "allowed" mean? I understand "no". No mean roll over on my belly and look appealing when you scold me.

For the kitchen:
Aloe, Christmas cactus and African violet plants in the window with my Lighthouse sun catcher. Cast Iron on the stove and food storage all over the place.

Yes, my cats are on the table and even, (I know, I know) sometimes on the COUNTER! But really, what can you do with a cat but shake your head and scratch its ears?

No cats here at the moment, but have had them in the past, on the table. A cat would have difficulty finding a spot on my table! lol! It is the "catch-all" for everything we bring into the house and don't feel like putting away (the usual state.) About once a month I clean it off, sort-of. We usually eat in the livingroom in front of the TV.

I do have a little dog that sits right at our feet when working in the kitchen. He's the vacuum and prewashes all my pots and dishes. He eats and sleeps in the kitchen too.

No cats, so no cats on the table but my two dirty (per "wvsky" in earlier comment) dogs are in my bed whenever they want and if they wanted on the table I wouldn't care....of course, one of them is nearly as big as the table. :snoopy: :woof: :dancingmonster:
