    So cute!
I know how you feel. My horses only tolerate me because I bring food.

    that’s goats for you.
I know from personal experience sheep are pretty much the same. No, I take that back, goats are more lovey, like dogs and sheep are more aloof, like cats.
I love checking in on your blog each day. thanks for the daily uplift.

    Hehee.

Wow, I never noticed how different goats’ pupils were before. They look kinda rectangular, almost….

That’s what happens when you don’t sleep and haven’t had coffee, you see things in a whole new light… :P

I love the tongue picture too. I am lucky to have everyones eyes open and their whole head in the pic and you can get a goat to stick out her tongue on command. You rock!

Little N. is at grandmas house–she might just get introduced to chickens in the road now too.

She is sooooo adorable. Love the animals on the farm. Can’t wait to show my grandaughter the picture with the tongue out. Also love the one where she is peeking at you from the side of a bldg.

No, no, we don’t know that Clover is pregnant! She might be, but we still don’t know. I’m sure she thinks she needs to eat cookies for two or ten in any case, LOL.

I just adore your posts, I’ve been reading for months but I just started reading this to my 4 and 3 year old sons (I have a 20 month old and 8 month old sons also but they don’t quite have the patience) and I want to thank you again for your heartwarming stories that touch our hearts. Not to really go into it but life in our home has been really tough this last year, and I no that no matter what is going wrong I can read your blog and smile!

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
