      Hi Nita,
I hope you feel better today, As someone suffering with a pseudo brain tumor I understand full well how difficult it can be to get your mental balance in play. Depression can be worse than the physical problems themselves many times. I wish you lived closer and I would have you over for dinner–not you–but offer you something for dinner. My sister and I frequently have girls nights with friends and have dinner, watch a movie, play cards and just be their for each other in general. Will raise a glass of fresh peach bellini with raspberries for you this evening. Warm regards, Leslie

Thank you so very much for your kind comment. Fortunately I live with two hilarious teens and they well know how to make Mom crack up! Between the two of them, and Clover’s bling, I perked up quite a bit!

God bless you, and have a great day!

This is one of those funnies…

You’re getting an eye exam, you’re at the parent/teacher conference or you’re getting a traffic ticket…and all of a sudden you can’t help but think of Clover in pearls and just have to giggle!

I’ll be laughing today..and no one else will know why!

So how many cookies did she demand for this set of pictures? LOL! She is one sassy looking goat!

Question about your daily photo–what’s inside the bags the birds are pearched on? Seed? Did you make them? It’s a neat idea for feeding the birds. Trouble is around here we havea lot of squirrels, and they would rip those bags apart in no time!

  32. 2-11

Debbie, that’s a finch feeder. There’s thistle in there!

I think we have too many goats and cats for squirrels to dare approach the feeder! The feeders are in the goat yard. The goats like to hang around and lick up seed the birds scatter, and the cats like to hang around and stare at the birds.

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
