I am Too Full to Write

But I did want you to know why trampolines are so dangerous in West Virginia.

(Email photo making the rounds…. I couldn’t resist it! Especially this week, the revered near national holiday status week in West Virginia in which the entire state shuts down to celebrate DEER SEASON.)

Don’t hurt yourself trying to get to the leftovers today. Cuz, uh, THEY’RE MINE. BACK OFF!

We have the day off Monday for Deer season as well. lol. Some people find it funny that some businesses and the schools shut down for this. I do not mind. I work at the school. So I go Christmas shopping on that day. Less people around. :)

    Have a good day!!!

Wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday, spent with my “other family” - friends of 35 years. I supplied one item, but brought home about 4 meals in leftovers that I didn’t have to cook! And talked to my daughter (far away in Iowa now) for quite a while last night. She’s also now one of your fans! Her blog: http://loessismore.blogspot.com/ which she started a couple of months ago to celebrate her new small town status. Happy Great Leftovers to all of you. :catmeow:

Suzanne, Do you know how many hunters are envying you?…lol
Even my husband stopped to look at this picture. How cool!!! Time to get a salt block and some corn, maybe that way you can keep these deers safe, full and dry…hopefully they will stay away from all the guys in Orange.

Great picture. We’ve had one deer visiting our yard every morning but I usually miss it. I thought for sure we’d get a pic of your laden turkey day table - bet it was gorgeous.

Love that photo! We have a buck in our backyard with a sore leg. He isn’t spooked by my dad walking around by him and leaving food. Hopefully he will stay here until hunting season is over.
