Announcing the Chickens in the Road 2009 Calendar!


The Chickens in the Road 2009 Calendar has arrived!

Finally! Yes, a calendar! This is what has possessed me lately to spend so much time going through photos from the past year. I’ve been choosing the photos for the calendar. Tearing my hair out. Staying awake at night trying to decide between this picture of Clover and that picture of Coco. Oh, the choosing! I have nearly gone crazy over the choosing. I wanted a year with 50 months so I could choose 50 photos! But here it is–a year with the funny, wacky, ridiculous Chickens in the Road farm animals! What more could you ask for?

Here are the photos, in order, that appear in the calendar. (11 x 8.5 hanging wall calendar.)

This is the first time I’ve done a calendar, so I was desperately worried about quality, not willing to put anything out there that wasn’t professional. I used CafePress to produce the calendar, and ordered one for myself to check it out personally. The calendar is printed on 100 pound high gloss paper and the color is fantastic. I was so pleased with it. I hope you will be, too!

The cats liked it right away.

    OMG MUST HAVE! :woof: That is so awesome Suzanne! I was telling my husband yesterday while we were at Target that I need a new calendar for my office, but none of the ones there felt “right”. Now I know which calendar I am getting!

    Wanted to add, I loved the pic of Coco for Nov. The one of the billy goats all lined up is gorgeous, and I’m so happy Dookie is on my birthday month of July :) Oh! and the poofy chicken butts LOL Love it. If you do this again next year, don’t forget the cats ;) :catmeow:

    Fabulous!!! I would love to see a pic of the farm in snow for Dec or Jan 2010!!! and cat or tow too!!! Suzanne I have some chicken towels and christmas towels I have made to send you. What is your box address? I asked Georgia but she did not keep it. thanks, jane

    I’ve placed my order! I wish I had known about this before I sent my mom a “cow calendar.” I send her calendars early so she can write her appointments for the next year in it before she loses the little cards. (Great idea Suzanne!) :clap:

    Now when I refer to “Chickens in the Road” my friends and family they will know what I’m talking about and why your blog is the first website I check every morning. (Even before I read my email!) Most of the gang lives in California where I lived until last January, and calendars will be easy to ship. Thanks!

    What’s the little horses name? He’s so gorgeous. Of course, I love Cocoa,Dookie,Clover,Nutmeg,Honey and the chicks pics too. The calendar will be one of my Christmas gifts to myself. HA You did a great job as always.
