Not even homemade ones, because that puts the less-crafty family members at a disadvantage. I want to just sit in front of the fire, talk about old times...and eat. Two of my three sisters will be here, and maybe a really fun niece. I want to go out into the woods Christmas Eve morning and cut greens for the mantle, as we did last year. I just want inner peace. Letting go of the modern holiday trappings will go a long way toward achieving that. What I want for Christmas is a holiday totally free from gifts.
