Handyman splurged on me, and then I had to splurge to get him some, then we returned some LL Bean boots we had bought for dd#1 and get some for her too. (She got talls.) Handyman is an outerwear expert and we've always bought nice "brand" boots. But these are without a doubt the quickest, warmest, comfortablest, sturdiest, snuggliest, best, BEST ever. (I like them a lot.) If I divide the price by the number of times I have worn them and staid warm in them, they're cheap. Just wanted to give you a first-hand testimonial.
