Daily Farmhouse Journal
These clouds over the farmhouse. I love these clouds. We’re having lots of weird weather lately, which leads to some really gorgeous have-to-stare-at-it skies. Who could stand under this awesome sky and not be happy just to be alive? The world is cool. ![]()
This chew-monster.
I
her. Despite how evil she is. But, hey, she’s almost done chewing everything up. We’ll be down to the bare bones here soon.
Neighbors stopping by. Princess loves neighbors stopping by, too. She managed to wrangle this dollar out of Faye yesterday.
My latest favorite seasonings–Hot Shot and Coarse Ground Black Pepper. Just into it lately. Can’t get enough.
This cute little ceramic snowman Princess made in school.
This boy. 16 is serious and quiet, but he also confides in me and makes me want to try to live up to being his mother. If he’d ever smile for a picture, you’d see he has really cute dimples, too.
Spring. I’m loving spring and it’s not even here yet. But I’m so ready!!
This girl and her “farm” shih tsu.
My new vacuum sealer. 52 gave it to me for Groundhog Day. What, doesn’t everyone get presents on Groundhog Day?
I mentioned a while back that I wanted one of those, and he got me one…
And oh yeah, one of the things I’m loving right now. 52.
What are you loving right now? Tell me your happy, feel-good things!

Yay!! Loving 52!!! By the way, if you can get 16 to smile, please pass along the technique you use. I have two 16’s, and I’m already starting to worry about this year’s Christmas card…

Hi Suzanne! Nice picture of 52
The newspaper really accents…. well something.
What am I loving right now? Writing went wonderfully well this morning… I really enjoyed it. My kids all cuddled with me this morning… that does NOT happen much anymore. When they get past a certain age, things like ’smiling for the camera’ and cuddling just aren’t cool. Its cold out so I get to have a fire in the fireplace again today! Can life get any better?

What am I loving today? Life!!
It’s a beautiful day, sun is shining but cold. I am having a good day painwise, getting ready for church, then trip this afternoon with my Priest to meet the Bishop. All in all it’s a great day. I’m just loving it and (almost
) everyone. Happy to hear you are loving 52. Yea
Have a great day and loving
to all.

I’m loving being in my cozy warm house on this cold and blustery windy day.

I am loving your pics! Get used to the not smiling stage for pictures, I think it goes away when they get married. Not sure tho, because none of mine are married yet.
I am loving breakfast with the hubby, fried eggs in bacon grease. My dog, who looks so pretty, laying, attentively watching us eat, because he knows there is bacon for him when we are done.
I am loving our weather here and the fact that I can open my windows today and I am barefoot!

I’m loving your blog - it’s the first thing I look up every morning. Love your positive attitude, the WV skies, your farm and kids, your great old farmhouse (even though I know how cold it gets), your books, your recipes - just on and on. I made the Grandmother bread with my three-year old granddaughter. It was wonderful and we had such a good time. Thank you!

Oh, sure, life all is rosy when we’re in love, it’s a chemical reaction, releases all those feel-good uh, chemicals. Hormones. Whatever.
I’m loving my cough drops, my favourite afghan, my warm slippers and my gas furnace, thanks.

Right now I’m loving my son. He’s 11 and hasn’t quite reached that 16 stage. I’m getting all the smiles I can and saving them for then! And I’m so glad to hear about 52.

I’m loving living so close to my grandsons. They smile most of the time.
The sky picture is awesome!

Ooh…
Today I love 37 (my husband) because he loves me even after I’ve given him a hard time all day…I love 11 and a half (my son), for being so beautiful…(can’t get 11 to smile for a pic…he only makes funny faces…). I love Stuart, our pup…
and I love God…because today he forgave me for my mood…

52 is cute! I like the horns. ;)
Lessee… what do I love right now… besides my kids and all the obvious stuff…
I love the wind. It was terribly windy and cold today, but I love wind. There’s something so neat about standing outside and the wind blowing so hard that you have to brace yourself just to stand upright.
I love Penzey’s Spices Touch of Mint Hot Cocoa. And Mint oreos. I’m on a mint/chocolate thing right now.
I love my new video iPod. I broke down and upgraded… found a refurbished one on eBay for about what I was going to pay for a much smaller non-video MP3 player, so I went for it. It’s sweet.
I love sleep. Not much of a sleeping week, so I’ll be crashing early tonight. Like… now. G’night!

I’m loving your posts.
I’m loving that you’ve found love again.
16 is a cutie, btw. He’s going to be a handsome devil when he’s grown.
I wonder what 52 has in store for 44 on the 14th?

16’s sorta got a Brad Pitt thing going on
I’m loving that the weather’s finally come out of the -30s so I don’t have to freeze myself so bad at the world’s longest game.
I’m loving that the requested ms is done so I don’t need to worry about anything more than printing it out and mailing.
And I’m loving that I bought pretty new seeds to plant

I spent the day looking and booking a historical hotel with a gazeebo for my daughter who just decided July is when she’ll get married. We then spent the rest of the day looking at wedding dresses and a dress for her bridesmaids - she has the dress (although I must admit she looked lovely in all of the ((says the proud mom) dresses)and the rest were ordered. Sooo much to do but what a great start.
