I grew up in Charleston -- no metropolis by any stretch of the imagination, but still -- and still have issues adjusting to the country life. I had the same reaction your truck driver did the first time I was told that I had to drive through a creek to get somewhere. I thought my husband was playing a trick on me... until I realized that we were still paying off the car, so he probably wouldn't do that. Heeheehee!!!
