We’re Building A Big Box

Oct
9

Floor trusses!

And the first wall!

And more walls!

And it’s…..a box!

I swear it’s going to have lots of windows, something like twenty! (Which is a lot of windows for a relatively small house.) Big ones, double ones, triple ones, with a lovely wraparound porch, all because….

THIS is the view.

No wonder you are having so many windows and the big porch. What a view!! I know you will have your computer set up where you can look out a window. I know I do. While my view isn’t as spectacular as yours, I still love looking at it. Have a great day everyone and a big  to all.

It’s amazing how much bigger the house will be as compared to seeing the foundation – I have no idea why lol. It’s going to be a house before you know it! Then you get to make it a home. :hellokitty:

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

"Lamb-y, then whammy! Get some tickets to Miami! Snow is easing, but we're still freezing. It may be spring by the astronomer, but not by the thermometer. Mighty fine, then leonine."
