Just For Fun

Squirrel, searching for a drink in the too-dry creek…..

I dug up a few remainders from my RWA loot for today’s Free Book Friday! Two autographed Avon Red anthology collections– Parlor Games by Jess Michaels (signed), Leda Swann, and Julia Templeton, and Alluring Tales: Awaken the Fantasy by Vivi Anna, Sylvia Day (signed), Deliah Devlin (signed), Cathryn Fox, Myla Jackson (signed), Lisa Renee Jones, and Sasha White. Two winners will be drawn Monday, so let me know if you’re interested!

They’re framing up the house this weekend, so I’ll have fun pictures next week!!

Please include me in your drawing.

We have some relatives of your squirrel around here… in fact a lot of them. Among the group is a pair of black squirrels and 1 white one. They certainly provide us with a lot of entertainment, especially when they try to get to the seeds in the bird feeders.

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
