Yea!!! Sorry Buttercup for taking away your padded sleep area, but maybe you can try the dirty clothes hamper, thats one of our cats favorite places to nap in. :cattail: Suzanne, you said you were busy trying to finish your book by the dedline. I wouldn’t worry, because I just know the ending is already simmering in the back of your mind, just waiting til it’s just right then it will pop out. :thumbsup: Can’t wait til the Oct. release of the 2nd Haven book and I know the 3rd will also be great. Oh, I love Buttercup’s paws! What a sweet kitty picture. (Uh, is Buttercup a male or female? I know ginger cats more often are males, but I’ve met several ginger females too.)

Count me in for the drawing. I’ll look forward to getting Caridad Pineiro’s book in the mail–much nicer than the bills!

I have one of those.. any open box or bag becomes insta-bed. Why invest in a kitty bed? They never get used.

Buttercup is a boy. We used to have a dog named Blossom and another cat named Bubbles–they were both girls, and my daughter was in the frame of mind where she was naming animals after Powerpuff Girls. In order to have the entire Powerpuff Girl collection, we needed a Buttercup…. So even though he was a boy, he got stuck with Buttercup. I figure it explains why he’s so cranky….he was named after a Powerpuff Girl.

My cats will enjoy “smelling” Buttercup on their package – they’re going to think it’s for them lol. I have boxes and beds all over the place but they always manage to find a new comfy spot somewhere. Leave me out for the book – I have it in my tbr pile :mrgreen:

I have an aunt whose previous two *female* cats were named Pasta and Wilbur. Both names were chosen by my aunt. So “Buttercup” for a male doesn’t seem too bad. LOL!

Mine have “regular” names, though, so the trend doesn’t run in the family.
