Signs of spring….. buds on the trees.
Reader’s choice contest! Super romance reader Melissa came up with this weekend’s contest–how many boxes of books does a romance fan pack when she moves? Here are some clues to help you guess– The boxes are standard book boxes from U-Haul: 13 inches high, 13 inches wide, 16 inches long. Two boxes are hardbacks, and she has more paperbacks than trade size. She started reading romance novels in her teens and remembers her first read as The Flame and the Flower by Kathleen Woodiwiss. (One of the early historical romances I read was also a Kathleen Woodiwiss book–I bet a lot of us can say the same!) Historicals are Melissa’s favorites, and with her busy life, she reads about one book a week. She started collecting romance novels in 2000, and when asked what she loves about the romance genre, she says, “Visiting places I’ve been, haven’t been, and places that don’t exist. Plus I love a happy ending. Oh, and if I’m not gettin’ any romance I may as well read about it. LOL!” ![]()
So, how many boxes of books did Melissa pack to move her romance collection?
:elephant:The prize: your pick of the March Silhouette Romance Suspense releases! His Only Obsession by Beverly Barton, Mission M.D. by Linda Turner, Shadow Surrender by Linda Conrad, or One Hot Target by Diane Pershing.
