On Thin Ice

Skating on the creek! Country children know how to make fun anywhere, don’t they? The creek is only several inches deep in places, so it freezes hard enough to skate on even though it’s thin. They skated all the way up and down the creek at the end of the meadow all weekend. Me, I managed to keep the heat and the water running all weekend, so things are looking up!!!

Bit of news–the second Haven book has been scheduled for October 2007 and is now titled A Hero’s Redemption. Sound good? It’s growing on me….

Lookin’ at that creek reminds me of crawfish huntin’ days. Not through ice of course. I enjoy your West *by God* Virginia pictures so much, Suz. They bring back a lot of good memories. :snoopy: Congrats MaryJ!

That looks so familiar! I believe I saw each of those terrific kids fall at least once. I froze watching them but it was so beautiful out there that it was worth it! Thanks for everything, my friend.

    Especially the scones!!

I like the title! And love the ice skating!
