A Very Blonde Day

My Precious Darlings

So, the TV in my bedroom wasn’t working. I decided it must have something to do with the electrical plug since everything else in the house was working normally. But believe it or not, I couldn’t find the plug. (Things are a bit crowded behind the TV.) I needed a Little Person. I called my daughter in. I said, Where’s the plug? All I can find is the satellite connection. She said, That’s what makes it work, the satellite connection. I said, NO, IT HAS TO HAVE ELECTRICITY. She said, I don’t know what that is. I said, Electricity! It’s what makes things work! Go look at your TV!! It has a plug! She went and looked at her TV and said, I see it! I know what a plug is now! I said, Okay, so WHERE IS MINE? She finally found it and then with amazing technical expertise, I plugged it in.

I hope the two of us are never stranded on the side of the road with car trouble….

I call it the common sense factor - apparently it needs to be learned lol. As an example, I know someone who was making a recipe that called for coffee to be added. She added coffee grinds and not the liquid coffee. :yuck:

TV’s and other appliances don’t usually work on the FM Principle. Always check the plug—then the operator.

I am glad I am not the only one that has this problem, awhile back I could not get the other computer to come up, I tried everything, checked the plugs, yup they were all plugged in, checked the breaker switches and nothing was out of line there. Called my son in a panic and said the computer wasn’t working - he said did you check to make sure the power bar was turned on………ummmmmm No?? Well try flipping it on and see if that doesn’t solve the problem……..why would the power bar be turned off?? At which point I was told just to go check it and not worry about it……..Sheesh amazing how when it is turned on everything works……….:???:

Your Princess just keeps getting prettier every day. I would know what the plug was but couldn’t get down to plug it in. Arthritis is too bad right now. I hope everyone is well. I have a really bad cold:sick: Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Stay warm and take care all. Hugs to all.
