My Girl, Photoblog
She called herself Many Cultured Morgan in this getup.
My 15-year-old is studying the DMV manual. He wants his learner’s permit. BAD. We went out of town a couple weekends ago and he took the manual with him! I said, now that you have learned to study, you could apply it to other subjects. You know, like MATH and SCIENCE and ENGLISH and HISTORY. He said, I don’t think so…….. But his lack of interest in scholastic excellence is not bothering me so much. (He does fine in school.) It’s that my 15-year-old will soon be DRIVING!!!
My 13-year-old is playing football. He tackles people. He made 11 tackles in a game a few weeks ago–a team high for tackles. How can my sweet little hugger-bear be tackling people? And look at him in his uniform with the pads! He looks so BIG…….
Not to mention, my 10-year-old daughter has a BOYFRIEND.
However, the other day, my 13-year-old came outside and found his sister pacing in the yard. He said, what is she doing? I said, she’s thinking about a math problem. He said, what kind of math problem? Two plus two? (He thinks he is so funny.)
YES! The more things change, the more they stay the same. They may act like adults sometimes these days, but they are still children.
Whew.
