What, No Mail?

Sometimes I think there are cats everywhere. I can’t move without tripping over eight or nine cats. They are such pains in the ass and I love them anyway! Here’s Sugar, left, in my mailbox. Yes, they are EVERYWHERE.

Buttercup is quite annoyed. :wall:

In other news, I noticed my two boys were getting along SO WELL lately. So I said to my oldest, why are you two getting along so well now? He said, we stopped speaking to each other. Hmmm….. I guess that works!

In other other news, I’m going to learn to make apple butter next week! AND I get to go see a murder trial! I don’t know what the guy did, but I wanna go see my cousin-the-prosecutor put somebody in the slammer.

Sports, school, another book deadline! No wonder I am not keeping up with my Free Book Fridays. So–I’m going to temporarily suspend the weekly Free Book Fridays and just do them spontaneously (still on Fridays, so be watching for them!) once or twice a month. (Winner from last weekend — Fannie! Click the Contact button in the menu above and send me your pick from my contemporary backlist.)

So what’s keeping YOU crazy busy? Or are you NOT busy? If you aren’t busy, can you come over? I’ve got extra chores….. I’ll share!!

That is SUCH a cute picture!!!

As for your research trip, since it’s a murder trial, I’d say he killed somebody. :rotfl: I hope your cousin kicks butt!

A Murder trial. How cool is that. I would like to watch your cousin-the prosecutor- do his thing. I have never been at a murder trial. I hope Cousin wins and gets a bad person off the street. The kitty is cute and Buttercup can just get over it. Thanks for picking me for a free book. I am thrilled. Have a good week-end and Hugs to all.

    Great picture!
I’m keeping busy painting. Dad can’t do much with his arm from the shoulder surgery, so I’ve apparently been designated the painter around here. Spent all week so far outside and still have a bunch to do

Love the pictures. Kittens are always so cute.

Work’s keeping me busy, followed by trying to hit some deadlines to submit. Hey, if you get all your chores done and you have extra kids, send them this way.

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

Old Farmer\'s Almanac

March 2010
"Lamb-y, then whammy! Get some tickets to Miami! Snow is easing, but we're still freezing. It may be spring by the astronomer, but not by the thermometer. Mighty fine, then leonine."
